Sie bietet eine umfassende und systematische Beratung für in ihrer Ausbildung fortgeschrittene Sänger in den Bereichen Atem- und Stimmtechnik, Interpretation und Musikdramatische Darstellung.

The Merano Academy Operastudio
is a highly advanced academy for singers of opera, operetta, musicals, chamber music and piano accompanists.
It offers comprehensive counseling for advanced singers regarding their training in the areas of: breathing and vocal technique, interpretation and musical dramatic performance.

Ablauf
In den einzelnen Stages werden Kurse in folgenden Bereichen angeboten:
- Atem- und Stimmtechnik
- Interpretation
- Lied, Operette, Musical, Oper
- Aufführungspraxis
- musikdramatische Darstellung
Die Teilnehmer erhalten
Einzelunterricht und Ensembleproben.
Neben der Gesangs-Academy und den Produktionen am Opera Studio werden von Zeit zu Zeit fakultative Kurse angeboten.
Die einzelnen Stages schließen mit öffentlichen Konzerten vor Publikum ab.

I partecipanti lezioni individuali come anche prove d'insieme.

I singoli Stages si concludono con concerti davanti ad un pubblico.

Richard J. Sigmund
Studium an der Hochschule für Musik in Wien das Konzertfachstudium Gesang, Lied und Oratorium und Musikdramatische Darstellung. Engagements u.a. in Wien und München. Seit 1988 in Südtirol ausgeprägte Tätigkeit als Gesangspädagoge, Kulturmanager, Dirigent, Regisseur und Komponist. Zahlreiche Regiearbeiten und Dirigate führten ihn nach Kroatien, Slowenien, Italien, Deutschland, Österreich, Frankreich, Spanien, Griechenland. Er gilt als international renommierter Gesangspädagoge und anerkannter Experte auf dem Gebiet Gesang & Regie in Oper und Musical.
Richard J. Sigmund
Ha studiato voce, lied e oratorio e dramma musicale all'Università della Musica di Vienna. Impegni a Vienna e Monaco, tra gli altri. Dal 1988 lavora in Alto Adige come insegnante di canto, manager culturale, direttore d'orchestra, regista e compositore. Numerosi impegni di regia e direzione lo hanno portato in Croazia, Slovenia, Italia, Germania, Austria, Francia, Spagna e Grecia. Insegnante di canto di fama internazionale e esperto riconosciuto nel campo del canto e della regia di opera e musical.
Richard J. Sigmund
He studied voice, lied and oratorio, as well as musical drama, at the University of Music in Vienna. He has held engagements in Vienna and Munich, among other cities. Since 1988, he has been working in South Tyrol as a singing teacher, cultural manager, conductor, stage director, and composer. Numerous directing and conducting engagements have taken him to Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, Germany, Austria, France, Spain, and Greece. He is an internationally renowned singing teacher and a recognized expert in the fields of vocal performance and the direction of opera and musical theatre.
Guest Vocal Coaches
Kalle Kanttila
Is the founder and CEO of Kanttila Management Agency (formerly IOA Management). Prior to that, he was a tenor soloist at the Nuremberg State Opera and the Regensburg Theatre, as well as a guest at prestigious opera houses such as the Komische Oper Berlin, the National Theatre Mannheim, and the Savonlinna Opera Festival. He serves as a juror at numerous international singing competitions, including the Belvedere Competition and Competizione dell'Opera. He also gives masterclasses worldwide, including in Helsinki, New York, Vienna, and San Francisco.
Selin Tabak Kanttila
Is a psychologist (M.Sc.), yoga and mindfulness trainer, and author. Prior to that, she ran her own private practice and company in Izmir, Turkey, working with individual and corporate clients. She has over 16 years of experience providing psychological counseling, yoga, and mindfulness training to clients worldwide. She also works as a mental coach for opera singers, collaborating closely with the Bavarian Opera Academy and participating in numerous international singing conferences and professional platforms, including the Classical Singers Convention in Chicago.
