Der diesjährige Gesangswettbewerb „Aria d’Oro“ in Meran hat eindrucksvoll gezeigt, welch strahlende Zukunft der internationalen Opernwelt bevorsteht. 80 Sängerinnen und Sänger aus 26 Nationen stellten sich vier Tage lang einer hochkarätigen Jury – und präsentierten am Samstag Abend in einem überwältigenden Abschlusskonzert ihr außergewöhnliches Talent.

Die Jury – bestehend aus renommierten Intendanten, Künstleragenturen und Fachleuten aus Finnland, Deutschland, Österreich, Italien und der Schweiz – widmete sich der anspruchsvollen Aufgabe mit größter Sorgfalt. Peter Edelmann (Österreich), Silvia Seeverda (Spanien), Kalle Kantilla (Deutschland), Christian Starinieri (Schweiz), Francesca Miccarelli (Trient), Cornelia Preisinger (Leipzig), Kinga Dobay (Deutschland) sowie der Juryvorsitzende Richard J. Sigmund (Italien) verfolgten die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer über den gesamten Zeitraum hinweg aufmerksam, hörten zu, diskutierten und bewerteten mit fachlicher Tiefe und feinem Gespür.

Dass 13 Bewerberinnen und Bewerber das Finale erreichten und daraus insgesamt acht Preisträgerinnen und Preisträger hervorgingen, unterstreicht das außergewöhnliche Niveau des Wettbewerbs. Mit dem Gesamtpreis ausgezeichnet wurden Maria Diana Rad aus Rumänien sowie Sofia Savenko aus Deutschland, deren außergewöhnliche künstlerische Leistungen die Jury besonders überzeugten.

In der Kategorie Lied gingen die Preise an Miriam Bitschnau aus Österreich und Johannes Eder aus Deutschland, die mit hoher musikalischer Sensibilität und ausdrucksstarken Interpretationen beeindruckten. Den Musical-Preis erhielt Loes Cools aus Belgien.

In der Kategorie Oper überzeugten Ivan Ozerov aus Russland und Rita Raposo aus Portugal, während Cinzia Zanovello, mit Wurzeln in der Schweiz und Italien, für ihre herausragende Darbietung in der Kategorie Operette geehrt wurde.

Zusätzlich vergab die Jury einen Anerkennungspreis, der an fünf besonders vielversprechende junge Künstlerinnen und Künstler verliehen wurde, deren Leistungen sich auf eindrucksvolle Weise hervorgehoben haben:

L’edizione di quest’anno del concorso di canto “Aria d’Oro” a Merano ha mostrato in modo impressionante quale futuro radioso attenda il mondo dell’opera internazionale. Ottanta cantanti provenienti da 26 nazioni si sono sottoposti, per quattro giorni, al giudizio di una giuria di altissimo livello – per poi presentare, sabato sera, il loro straordinario talento in un concerto finale travolgente.

Ciò che si è dispiegato sul palcoscenico è stata pura brillantezza vocale: voci di notevole forza espressiva, raffinatezza tecnica e maturità artistica, qualità che raramente si riscontrano con tale intensità anche tra professionisti già affermati. Il pubblico ha accolto queste straordinarie interpretazioni con applausi tempestosi e prolungati, esprimendo tutta la propria ammirazione per i finalisti e per il loro enorme impegno. Era evidente che molti di questi giovani artisti hanno davanti a sé una carriera internazionale di grande rilievo.

La giuria – composta da rinomati direttori artistici, agenzie e professionisti del settore provenienti da Finlandia, Germania, Austria, Italia e Svizzera – si è dedicata al difficile compito con la massima cura. This year’s edition of the “Aria d’Oro” vocal competition in Merano offered an impressive glimpse into the bright future awaiting the world of international opera. Eighty singers from 26 nations subjected themselves over four days to the judgement of a highly distinguished jury – and on Saturday evening showcased their extraordinary talent in a thrilling final concert.

What unfolded on stage was pure vocal brilliance: voices of remarkable expressive power, technical refinement, and artistic maturity – qualities seldom encountered with such intensity even among established professionals. The audience greeted these extraordinary performances with thunderous and prolonged applause, expressing their admiration for the finalists and their tremendous dedication. It was evident that many of these young artists have significant international careers ahead of them.

The jury – consisting of renowned artistic directors, agencies, and industry professionals from Finland, Germany, Austria, Italy, and Switzerland – approached their demanding task with utmost care. Peter Edelmann (Austria), Silvia Seeverda (Spain), Kalle Kantilla (Germany), Christian Starinieri (Switzerland), Francesca Miccarelli (Trento), Cornelia Preisinger (Leipzig), Kinga Dobay (Germany), and the jury president Richard J.
