"ORFEO & EURIDICE" in unserer Sommerakademie 2023 in Griechenland, ein Erlebnis! 

 Unsere Sommerakademie 2023 fand unter der Leitung von Richard J. Sigmund an der Südküste des Golfes von Korinth, in der Nähe von Egion/Patras statt. Dabei wurde eine Masterclass für Solisten, Chor und Orchester abgehalten und die Oper „Orfeo ed Euridice“ von Ch. W. Gluck einstudiert. 

Neben 10 internationale Solisten der „Merano Academy 2023“ waren ein Streichensemble und Chorsänger aus Südtirol und Deutschland Teilnehmer. Bereits ab März waren Einzelproben für Solisten und verlängerte Wochenenden für Chorsänger angesagt. Ab dem14.August erhielten die Solisten täglich Unterweisung in Stimmbildung und Interpretation. Am 19. August kamen dann die Chorsänger und die Streicher, welche von Mo. Marcello Defant vorbereitet wurden, dazu.Täglich gab es Stimmbildungsunterricht für Chorsänger und Solisteneinige Stunden Proben und Freizeit in einem traumhaften, naturbelassenen Ambiente im Golf von Korinth.

Die nahezu 50 Teilnehmer fieberten auf die geplanten Aufführungen hin. Diese wurde am Antiken Hafen von Aigio und vor dem Apollotempel in der antiken Ausgrabungsstätte von Korinth zur Aufführung gebracht. 

Die Mühen haben sich gelohnt. Presse, Kritiker und offizielle Vertreter, wie die Bürgermeister und die Vertreter des Kultusministeriums überschlugen sich in den Ansprachen mit sehr viel Lob für die Darbietung. 

Nicht zuletzt war es für jeden einzelnen Mitwirkenden ein anstrengendes, jedoch lohnendes, einmaliges und unvergessliche Erlebnis, als erste auf dieser historischen Erde großes Musiktheater erlebt zu haben.

Richard J. Sigmund wurde eingeladen, im nächst Jahr wiederum diese antike Stätte des Apollotempels in Korinth zu bespielen. Welche Ehre, Genugtuung und Freude.

"ORFEO & EURIDICE" nella nostra Summer Academy 2023 in Grecia, un'esperienza! 

La nostra Summer Academy 2023 si è svolta sotto la direzione di Richard J. Sigmund sulla costa meridionale del Golfo di Corinto, vicino a Egion/Patrasso. Si è tenuta una master class per solisti, coro e orchestra ed è stata provata l'opera "Orfeo ed Euridice" di Ch. W. Gluck.
 
Oltre ai 10 solisti internazionali della "Merano Academy 2023", hanno partecipato un ensemble di archi e coristi provenienti dall'Alto Adige e dalla Germania. Le prove individuali per i solisti e i fine settimana prolungati per i coristi sono stati programmati già da marzo. A partire dal 14 agosto, i solisti hanno ricevuto istruzioni quotidiane sulla formazione vocale e sull'interpretazione. Il 19 agosto si sono uniti a loro i coristi e i suonatori d'archi, preparati da Marcello Defant. Ogni giorno si sono tenute lezioni di formazione vocale per coristi e solisti, diverse ore di prove e tempo libero in un ambiente naturale e da sogno nel Golfo di Corinto.
 
I quasi 50 partecipanti attendevano con ansia le esibizioni previste. Queste sono state eseguite nell'antico porto di Aigio e davanti al Tempio di Apollo nell'antico sito archeologico di Corinto. 
L'impegno è stato proficuo. La stampa, i critici e i rappresentanti ufficiali, come i sindaci e i rappresentanti del Ministero della Cultura, nei loro discorsi hanno traboccato di elogi per lo spettacolo. 
 
Infine, è stata un'esperienza faticosa ma gratificante, unica e indimenticabile per ogni singolo partecipante, che è stato il primo a sperimentare il grande teatro musicale su questa terra storica.
Richard J. Sigmund è stato invitato a tornare in questo antico sito del Tempio di Apollo a Corinto il prossimo anno. Che onore, soddisfazione e gioia.

"ORFEO & EURIDICE" in our Summer Academy 2023 in Greece, an experience!

Our Summer Academy 2023 took place under the direction of Richard J. Sigmund on the south coast of the Gulf of Corinth, near Egion/Patras. A masterclass for soloists, choir and orchestra was held and the opera "Orfeo ed Euridice" by Ch. W. Gluck was rehearsed.
 
Besides 10 international soloists of the "Merano Academy 2023", a string ensemble and choir singers from South Tyrol and Germany were participants. Already from March on, individual rehearsals for soloists and extended weekends for choristers were scheduled. From August 14, the soloists received daily instruction in voice training and interpretation. On August 19, the choir singers and the string players, prepared by Marcello Defant, joined the choir singers and the soloists, who received daily voice training, several hours of rehearsals and free time in a beautiful natural setting in the Gulf of Corinth.
 
The nearly 50 participants feverishly awaited the planned performances. These were performed at the ancient port of Aigio and in front of the Temple of Apollo in the ancient archaeological site of Corinth. 
The effort paid off. The press, critics and official representatives, such as the mayors and the representatives of the Ministry of Culture, overflowed with praise for the performance in their speeches. 
 
Last but not least, it was an exhausting, yet rewarding, unique and unforgettable experience for each and every participant to have been the first to experience great musical theater on this historic earth.
Richard J. Sigmund was invited to perform again next year at this ancient site of the Temple of Apollo in Corinth. What honor, satisfaction and joy.
